Blue Curve Limited is pleased to announce that its parent company, Isle of Man based Rivington Street Ventures, has acquired US-based financial research software provider Jovus Inc., for up to $1.75m in cash and loan notes.

The Jovus business will be merged with Blue Curve Limited, to create the first truly global provider of financial research software.  Jovus’ customer base is complimentary to Blue Curve, and the combined business will become the largest provider of financial research software solutions to the sell-side with customers in North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

Blue Curve’s software enables firms to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their earnings data management, document production, research workflow, compliance processing, disclosure management and distribution.  Jovus customers will benefit from the ability to utilise the increased functionality and flexibility offered by Blue Curve, which runs on a compatible software platform.

In addition, the combined resources of both firms will ensure that the enlarged customer base benefits from an increased level of customer service.  Both firms’ commitment to R&D and a hosted platform based around Microsoft Office will also allow the development investment to be concentrated on one platform, which will result in increased benefits for all customers.
